The 12 Bars of Christmas is a bar crawl in downtown Minneapolis to benefit the Children's Hospital.
Hello 12BoC'ers!
The 12 Bars of Christmas is only 2 days away!!! Thank you for all who came and picked up shirts at the happy hours. We had a record turnout this year, and unfortunately, didn't have enough shirts for everybody. So to make up for not having enough shirts, we will be selling 12BoC wristbands at the Refuge from 4:00-6:00 before the event. The wristband costs $15, and will benefit the Children's Hospital. Both the 12BoC shirt and the 12BoC wristband will be your ticket to all the 12BoC specials. We will have 500 wristbands, and they will be sold first come first serve. For those buying a wristband, please try and wear red or dress in your best holiday attire.

The bars will all have $3 Bud Light, Bud Light Lime and Bud Light Golden Wheat between 6:00 and close. Bars will have other specials as well - please talk to your bartender about 12BoC specials. In addition, there are several food specials: Chammps will be doing 1/2 off appetizers all night long, Ugly Mug will have $5 Burger Baskets, Bootleggers will have a free buffet from 6-8, 508 will be doing 20% off appetizers all night long and NBA City will have $2 chips & salsa and $1 kettle chips. The shirt or wristband will also guarantee you free cover at all bars.
Since we are so large (close to 3,000 participants), we can't do the event as a traditional crawl anymore. You and your friends are free to do the event in any bar order you want.
Thank you so much for the donations to the Children's Hospital. This event has raised enough money to help build a new indoor children's play center at the St.Paul Hospital.
Please drink responsibly on Friday. We have added Red & White Taxi's phone # to the back of the shirt. In addition, there are plenty of hotels in the vicinity. Many people have used Priceline.com to get hotels for $45-60.
Lastly, thank you all for attending. In just 6 years, you have helped us become the largest holiday pub crawl event in Minnesota. So this Friday, let's show downtown that we like to party!
